Daily Fantasy Leagues - FanDuel Lineup Picks (6/12)

Kyle Lohse BrewersP: Kyle Lohse ($7,000): With a big group of aces going tonight, we focus on a pitcher who is likely to be underowned. Lohse has been good recently, going 6+ innings in nine straight starts and striking out 19 hitters over his last three outings. He also gets a great matchup tonight against a Mets squad that is ranked 29th in both batting average and slugging percentage. Lohse makes a solid bargain buy tonight, helping you save money for some big bats.

C: Miguel Montero ($3,600): After struggling to start the year, Montero has been one of the best offensive catchers in baseball over the past few weeks. Prior to his last two games, Montero was 10-for-20 with three home runs in five games. He hits in the middle of a Diamondbacks  lineup that should be in line for a big game against Scott Feldman tonight.

1B: Jose Abreu ($4,400): The unstoppable force takes on the immoveable object tonight as Abreu and Max Scherzer square off tonight. Despite that matchup it would be risky to fade Abreu, who is 5-for-8 with two homers, three runs and three RBI over his last two games. Scherzer has also struggled of late, having allowed an astounding 40 hits over his last four outings. Even at this elevated price, Abreu is a strong buy tonight.

2B: Aaron Hill ($2,900): Second base is a very weak position today, so I'm looking to go cheaper there tonight with Hill. He has been hitting better recently, with hits in seven of his last nine games including a solo home run last night. Like Montero, Hill could be a part of a big scoring night for Arizona.

SS: Jose Reyes ($3,600): If Tulowitzki is out of your price range tonight, Reyes makes a great second option. He is currently on a 12-game hitting streak and has also mixed in some power and stolen bases to boost his fantasy numbers. The Jays are also a great stack option tonight, as they face Kevin Gausman who only has one appearance this year longer than four innings and a season ERA of 4.91.

3B: Brock Holt ($3,300): Another player who has been red-hot of late is Holt. Last night he snapped a 10-game hitting streak, but is still hitting .357 with seven RBI and nine runs scored over the past two weeks. He is sitting firmly at the top of the Red Sox lineup, which gives him an excellent chance to score multiple runs each night. Holt also faces a right-handed pitcher tonight in Josh Tomlin, which also adds to his value.

OF: Andrew McCutchen ($4,600): Without a doubt the hottest hitter in baseball right now, McCutchen is a near must-own. He comes into tonight with four straight multi-hit games and homers in three straight. Tonight he faces Jeff Samardzija, against whom he is 10-for-26 with three doubles for his career. Fade the Pirates star at your own risk tonight.
