Daily Fantasy Leagues - FanDuel Lineup Picks (7/3)
With the Fourth of July holiday upon us we have just a quick list of picks for today’s games:
P: Masahiro Tanaka ($11,200): Tanaka averages over a strikeout per inning, including 35 over his last three starts, and he faces a struggling Twins offense that just lost Joe Mauer.
C: Jarrod Saltalamacchia ($2,800): Salty is working on a six-game hitting streak, and he faces Kyle Kendrick tonight in Miami-- for the price, he is the top catching play today.
1B: Paul Goldschmidt ($4,900): Don’t let Vance Worley’s 1.74 season ERA fool you-- he is exactly who we thought he was. Goldy should be able to tee off tonight at home.
2B: Aaron Hill ($2,800): See Goldschmidt. Hill is an extremely cheap option that has multiple extra-base hit potential today.
SS: Carlos Triunfel ($2,200): Assuming Hanley Ramirez goes to the DL, Triunfel should be in line for more at-bats. Ohh, and the Dodgers are in Colorado tonight.
3B: Pedro Alvarez ($3,300): Left-handed power hitter against right handed Brandon McCarthy? YES, PLEASE!
OF: Torii Hunter ($2,700): BvP play of the day, Hunter is 9-for-28 for his career against Erik Bedard with two homers. He is also coming off of a solid 3-for-4 night.
OF: Yasiel Puig ($3,800): Puig is on a six-game hitting streak, and he faces left-hander Morales in Coors Field tonight-- not too much more to say, so roster him and be happy when he produces.
