MLB Hitter Cheat Sheet (6/12/16): Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Picks

Well we have reached the end of the weekend, RotoBallers. But before we get back to the grind, let us enjoy one more relaxing day of baseball and DFS. When setting your lineups this morning, be on the lookout for these players I have listed below. When you are in a pinch for money after selecting Jon Lester against the Braves, these low salary players will be essential to completing your lineup. These hitters are not projected for the highest point totals for today, but rather the most bang for your buck.

That is the purpose of this article -- to provide you with the best value hitters available each day.

Today I'll be bringing you seven value hitters for MLB Daily Fantasy Baseball on FanDuel and DraftKings for June 12th, 2016. Let's get rowdy.

DFS Hitters - Lineup Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings

Robinson Chirinos, TEX (C)

FanDuel: $2,400/ DraftKings: $2,900

Chirinos was activated from the disabled list Thursday, and received a day off yesterday, so all signs lead to him being behind the plate for the Rangers today against Wade Miley and his 5.27 ERA. Chirinos hit LHP very well last season, with four HR and a .845 OPS. He only has five career PA versus Miley, but has recorded a triple and a double in the limited time.
Byung-ho Park, MIN (1B)

FanDuel: $2,900/ DraftKings: $3,400

Park has been a major let down in the BA department through his first three months in the MLB, but the Korean star's power has been as advertised. He has hit 11 HR this season, with nine of those coming off RHP, and seven coming at Home. Today he faces Rick Porcello who has allowed five long balls in his last three starts.

Logan Forsythe, TB (2B)

FanDuel: $2,600/ DraftKings: $4,200

Like Chirinos, Forsythe also returned from the disabled list this week. Like the rest of the Rays offense, Forsythe thoroughly enjoys southpaws. He is hitting .367 with two HR off LHP this season, and is 6-13 lifetime against Dallas Keuchel, who is allowing a .297 BA to right handed hitters during his disappointing 2016 campaign. Forsythe is an absolute steal on FanDuel today.

Jhonny Peralta, STL (3B/SS)

FanDuel: $2,500/ DraftKings: $3,400

A third man fresh off the disabled list, I will continue to use Peralta as long as his prices remain this low, especially against lefties. The veteran shortstop is 5-14 lifetime versus Jon Niese, who has allowed 10 HR to right handed hitters this season. Peralta continues to be the best-priced clean up hitter on DFS.

Since FanDuel has yet to grant Peralta shortstop eligibility this season, FanDuel users should also consider his teammate, Jedd Gyorko ($2,000) today. He should draw the start against the southpaw, and is hitting .545 with a HR in 11 career PA versus Niese.

Jung Ho Kang, PIT (3B)

FanDuel: $2,900/ DraftKings: $3,900

Kang is hitting .284 with eight HR in 2016, has an even more impressive .340 BA at home, and has already taken Mike Leake deep once in just seven career PA.

Michael Taylor, WSH (OF)

FanDuel: $2,200/ DraftKings: $3,900

Taylor always makes for a interesting option when facing LHP, as the Nats usually hit him leadoff, but his DFS prices usually inflate on these days as well. Well today, DraftKings kept to that pattern, but FanDuel did us all a favor and kept him near the minimum. His 2016 numbers aren't much to look at, but he is hitting .278 so far in June and should have plenty of run scoring opportunities against Adam Morgan today.

Carlos Gomez, HOU (OF)

FanDuel: $2,700/ DraftKings: $3,500

Here is another outfielder who will fly under radars today as they look to take advantage of a sub-par southpaw. Gomez is hitting .314 with an .886 OPS against LHP this season, and hit his third HR yesterday. On the bump for the bad guys, Matt Moore has allowed the third highest HR/9 in the league this season and owns a 5.56 ERA.
