BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 51% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu may only have 22 receptions this season, but has made the most of his opportunities. Sanu has a touchdown reception in three of the last four games, tallying a 100-yard game in the one game that he did not grab a TD. That makes Sanu the 33rd-ranked WR in standard leagues, even if he is the third receiving option in Atlanta some times.
With Julio Jones and the emergence of Calvin Ridley, some have forgotten about Sanu, defensive backs included. He has caught 22 of his 33 targets this season, being targeted at least seven times in three of the last four games. With volume like that in a pass happy Falcons offense, it is shocking that Sanu is available in half of leagues.
The Giants, who Atlanta will face this week, are 2nd against WR, but there may still be opportunities for Sanu. While New York may be able to handle Jones or Ridley, Sanu may slip through the creases against a defense that has allowed at least 30 points in each of the last three games. Considering that Sanu has found the end zone frequently, he is a good addition in deeper leagues.
