Miguel Montero delivered a walk-off home run in the 10th inning on Wednesday for another Chicago Cubs victory.

Montero went 1-for-3 with a walk but the one blast that mattered was the solo homer in extras to help the Cubs defeat the Milwaukee Brewers and stay as the hottest team in MLB with their sixth straight victory.

There were a few wild pitches that got by Montero in the ninth inning, which led to the Brewers tying the game.

The catcher has a .231/.341/.397 with 11 home runs and 34 RBI in 270 plate appearances on the season but it was his best moment of the season since Chicago now holds a 4 1/2 game lead for the second Wild Card spot in the NL.

The Cubbies will go across town against the Chicago White Sox for a four-game interleague series that begins on Thursday.
