NASCAR DFS Prop Picks: Blue Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 - Monkey Knife Fight

Saturday night features the Blue Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 from Martinsville. Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, William Byron, Ryan Blaney, Kyle Busch, and Chase Elliott will make up the top five to start the race. Monkey Knife Fight has an extremely easy fantasy point system: 0.1 points for each lap led and then a set amount of points for their position (20 for 1st place, 19 for 2nd place, 18 for 3rd, and so on).

Our friends at Monkey Knife Fight offer some of the coolest, and easiest to win, NASCAR DFS games in the industry. If you haven't checked out these games yet, you can start this weekend! There are no massive tournaments where you have to get ridiculously lucky just to cash because, at MKF, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the betting line, and the dudes at MKF have fallen all over themselves to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a $50 deposit bonus.

Pick 1: More or Less Fantasy Points (2/2)

Recommended Prop Pick: Joey Logano MORE 17.5 Fantasy Points and Ryan Blaney MORE 17.5 Fantasy Points

Logano and Blaney are projected to be two of the higher fantasy point producers at Martinsville and lucky for us, we can bet on both of them but...

Logano won the dirt track race at Bristol before the break and has been traditionally strong on short tracks. The fact that he can lead a significant amount of laps from the pole figures significantly here. The Team Penske driver can race on anything and even excels at night. That may serve him well even if this race gets delayed a little from yes, the weather.

For a driver on the pole, Logano has a pretty low number set at 17.5. He may not necessarily have the best car but again he knows how to stay up front for long enough. If he finishes anywhere near the top-five, the MORE is an automatic hit. The same goes for Ryan Blaney here. Blaney has shown significant success here and finished twice last year at Martinsville. There is little reason to believe that the Team Penske driver, who starts fourth, won't lead some laps and also hit the MORE as well.

This all boils down to rain delays and wrecks once again but these two drivers tend to avoid the latter better than most which are why we are bullish for the Blue Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500.

Pick 2: More or Less Fantasy Points (2/2)

Recommended Prop Pick: Chase Elliott LESS 18.5 Fantasy Points, Denny Hamlin LESS 18.5 Fantasy Points

This prop scares us to death on Saturday evening because both drivers could easily win this race but could also crash out. Elliot has 6 to 1 odds to break through and win his first race of the season while Hamlin is at 7 to 1. Remember, every race has seen a different winner this season so far. These two drivers make the most sense and yet...

The idea here is to pray that Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin do not lead a lot of laps -- particularly Hamlin. Hamlin has shown a propensity to finish in the top five and top ten quite a bit. He has six top-five finishes in seven races. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver is the greatest risk to our prop here.

These point totals are high because of projection. They are also high because both drivers are extremely good at Martinsville, have had results, and can easily win this race. This is likely our most risky prop bet of the young season so far. This is one that could blow up in our faces especially if the script is followed on the short track.
