NASCAR Xfinity Series: DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks for Las Vegas Alsco Uniforms 300 (3/6/21)

Can you believe it's already time for the fourth race of the NASCAR Xfinity season?

On Saturday, the drivers in NASCAR's second-tier series will head to Vegas. So far, three different drivers have won races this season, including Myatt Snider, who won his first Xfinity race last week at Homestead.

Here at RotoBaller, we want to help you make informed decisions about your DFS lineups, which is why I'll be breaking down the slates for the Xfinity Series. Let's look at some NASCAR Xfinity DFS lineup picks for the Alsco Uniforms 300 on DraftKings. Be sure to also check out our NASCAR Premium Tools for Xfinity Series including our DFS Lineup Optimizer and powerful Research Station.

Noah Gragson #9 ($11,300) - Starting 34th

Oh man, Gragson.

Last week, this car was cruising to a victory when the car in front of him blew a tire. Gragson had nowhere to go, crashing into David Starr and ending Gragson's chance at the win -- and probably a lot of your chances at winning some DFS money, if you took my advice and played Gragson.

But that wreck leads to Gragson being a strong play this week, as he comes with immense place differential upside from his 34th-place starting spot.

The Vegas native has top 10 finishes in all four of Xfinity starts, including three top-five finishes. He was fourth and second here last year, and while he's only led two laps in those four starts, Gragson still has to be considered someone who can win this race.

A.J. Allmendinger #16 ($9,600) - Starting 10th

While Allmendinger only has one Cup Series top 10 in 10 Vegas starts and hasn't raced here in Xfinity, I think he's a solid play this week, especially with the potential that a lack of past success leads to him going under-rostered.

Last year, Allmendinger ran 11 races for Kaulig. One of those came at a 1.5-mile intermediate track in the mold of Vegas, and Allmendinger won that race at Atlanta after starting 30th.

Kaulig has a good program on this track type. Allmendinger is a good driver. I like that combo this week at his DFS price and with his starting spot.

Riley Herbst #98 ($9,000) - Starting 12th

Ninth and 12th in two races at Vegas last season, Herbst should be in line for an improved showing this year.

Part of that is because he's in the 98 car. Last February, that car won this race with Chase Briscoe driving, leading 89 laps. Then in September, Briscoe won again here, leading 164 laps.

Look: I'm not arguing that Herbst is as good as Briscoe or that Stewart-Haas is necessarily a stronger Xfinity team than Joe Gibbs Racing. But this team does know how to attack these intermediate tracks, making Herbst a strong play and a candidate to win his first-ever Xfinity race.

Ryan Vargas #6 ($7,100) - Starting 35th

Now for some value guys.

Vargas starts 35th. I'm going to be all over these JD Motorsports cars when they start this far back this season.

Last week, Vargas started 35th at Homestead, then finished 24th. He's had an average position of 25th or better in two of the three races this season, and while Vargas isn't an exciting play, he is an affordable option who should move 10 or so spots up in the field during Saturday's race.

Brandon Brown #68 ($6,900) - Starting 25th

This pricing seems like a misprint.

Dating back to last season, Brown is basically a lock to finish in the top 15 if he keeps the car clean, and this season he already has two top 10s. He was 34th last week after car issues forced him to exit the race, but was as high as seventh at one point.

Brown's a good driver. This is a solid team. He was 11th and 15th here last year and has never finished below 17th at Vegas. Love this play. Love this price.

Colby Howard #15 ($6,100) - Starting 38th

Hey, another JD Motorsports car starting near the back!

Howard isn't as good a play as Vargas because Howard hasn't had the finishes you might want to see this year, but his one non-DNF was a 23rd at the Daytona road course. He was 21st at Vegas last Fall and ended the year on a strong run -- if you take the races that Howard crashed out of away from the equation, he was top 25 in his final four full races. He's another solid value option this week.
