BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 6% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Now in the middle of his third season as a pro, Naz Reid is on pace to play as many NBA games as he's done in his first two seasons as he's appeared on 67 of the Wolves 72 so far and never topped 70 prior to this year. That's reasonable considering that, although his counting stats have gone down a bit, he's improved on the margins and all advanced stats compared to years past. If that holds, then Reid is a fantastic addition ROS and for the future, in case you happen to luck into Naz and roster him in a Dynasty league.
Reid's usage rate is at a career-low 21.5% this season, but he's raised his marks in BLK%, STL%, AST%, VORP, BPM, WS/48, etc... I could make a list as long as anything you can think of. That's Reid for you, growing in front of our eyes while playing as part of playoff-bound Minny's second unit. Just in the month of March, Reid has looked as good as he's ever done: eight games played with an average of only 17 MPG, yes, but an average line reading 12-6-1-1. I call that a super-sub man.
Obviously, Naz's limited minutes of playing time hurt is counting numbers. It is what it is. But his role has grown a bit of late with a much higher 23+ USG% after the ASB. The shots fall pretty much all of the time because he hits trays but mostly mans the paint. The freebies don't come often but go through the rim with gusto. And the steals and boards, for someone not even playing 20 minutes a pop, are just bonkers-efficient.

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
