NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel DFS Basketball Advice for 10/30/15

Daily fantasy basketball is one of the most predictable fantasy sports that there is. Players generally get the same amount of minutes per game, and they can usually be expected to score, rebound, and assist at around the same ratio.

This makes finding value plays fairly easy. I will provide a top play and a value play at the guard and forward positions. Center is a position that I never really try to find a cheap option at. Pay up at the center position.

Due to this, I'll only provide a top option there. Let's get down to it. Here are my daily fantasy basketball picks for October 30th, 2015.

FanDuel Top Point Guard Pick

Reggie Jackson (vs CHI, $7,500)

Reggie Jackson has played in two games already this season, and it should be easy to see that he is going to be a very fantasy relevant point guard this season. In his game against the Atlanta Hawks, he scored 15 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists. Against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, he scored 19 points, but failed to produce as well as he did against the Hawks in the other categories. The great thing about Reggie Jackson is that he can score, assist, and rebound the ball. That gives him great upside, but also keeps his floor rather high. Use him in any format.

FanDuel Top Point Guard Pick

Isaiah Canaan (vs UTA, $4,800)

Isaiah Canaan looked like a very solid value play against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. The Philadelphia 76ers were moving the ball at a very fast pace, and this worked out well for Canaan. He shot 10 times from the three-point line, knocking down 4 of them and scoring 18 total points. He also grabbed 7 rebounds. It is not likely that the Sixers' guard is going to continue to rebound that well every game, but he is going to continue to shoot. With his ability to hit the three, he makes for a solid tournament play at such a cheap price tag.

FanDuel Top Forward Pick

Greg Monroe (vs WAS, $7,700)

Greg Monroe is going to go under-owned again, and that is a tragedy for everyone that isn't reading this article. On Wednesday against the New York Knicks, he shot the ball 17 times from the field and 10 times from the line, combining to score 22 points. He also had 14 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. There was absolutely no stopping the big man from Milwaukee. He looks like he is enjoying his freedom on the Bucks' squad, and he should continue to perform at an All-Star level tonight.

FanDuel Value Forward Pick

Serge Ibaka (at ORL, $5,900)

If you are playing in cash games this week, do not avoid Serge Ibaka. He makes for a solid tournament play as well, but his floor is very high. Against the San Antonio Spurs, he had 10 points and 5 rebounds, but the Spurs are a slow-paced team with a solid defense. The Orland Magic, on the other hand, play fast and do not play all that much defense. Ibaka is a good shooter and a great rebounder. He should easily be able to hit value, as his price tag is just too low.

FanDuel Top Center Pick

Hassan Whiteside (at CLE, $6,500)

Unlike Serge Ibaka, Hassan Whiteside is definitely a tournament play only. He does get a good matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have never cover the center position well, but he also gets into foul trouble too often. He only played 20 minutes last game because of foul trouble. There is no getting around it. However, if he stays out of foul trouble, he can score with anyone in the league in fantasy points. With a 50 plus fantasy point ceiling, Whiteside is well worth his sub-$7,000 price tag.
