Daily fantasy basketball happens to be one of the most predictable fantasy sports that there is. Players generally get the same amount of minutes per game, and they can usually be expected to score, rebound, and assist at around the same ratio.
This makes finding value plays fairly easy. I will provide a top play and a value play at the guard and forward positions. Center is a position that I never really try to find a cheap option at. Pay up at the center position.
Due to this, I'll only provide a top option there. Let's get down to it. Here are my daily fantasy basketball picks for November 20th, 2015.

FanDuel Top Guard Pick
Jimmy Butler (at GSW, $7,900)
Derrick Rose is doubtful for tonight's game against the Golden State Warriors, and Jimmy Butler benefits every time Rose does not take the court. He plays with the ball in his hands more often, and he also tends to play more minutes. In his last game against the Phoenix Suns, he played 43 minutes, shot the ball 23 times, and scored 45.5 fantasy points. He should definitely score over 40 fantasy points tonight against the Golden State Warriors, as the game is going to be uptempo and very competitive. Butler is one of the safest options on the board when Derrick Rose is out of the Bulls' lineup, so do not hesitate to use him in both cash games and tournaments.
FanDuel Value Guard Pick
Jeremy Lin (vs PHI, $4,200)
Jeremy Lin is starting to see more minutes at the guard position, and he is taking advantage of that opportunity. Kemba Walker is not struggling by any means. Lin and Walker are just playing better together. Walker makes for a great cash game play tonight, as he has at least close to 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games. Lin, on the other hand, is really more of a tournament play. In his last game against the Brooklyn Nets, he played 29 minutes, scored 13 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished out four assists, and scored 30.25 fantasy points. He looked like he was on his way to a triple-double in the early stages of the game, but he slowed down. He shot 0-of-4 from the three-point line, but he usually hits at least one of two. Scoring over 35 fantasy points may be challenging for Lin, but it is definitely not out of the question.
FanDuel Top Forward Pick
Nicolas Batum (vs PHI, $7,000)
The forward positions are filled with value plays tonight, which makes finding a "top pick" challenging. However, Nicolas Batum fits the bill. He has over 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games, and he is one of the most consistent forwards in the league. Tonight, he faces off against the Philadelphia 76ers, who struggle to defend even the worst of forward. Batum shoots well from behind the arc, and the Sixers gladly leave that shot open. This game may not stay close, which is a problem for Batum because he does play around 40 minutes per game, but I am not going to avoid someone as talent as Batum because the game might get out of hand. It also might stay close. Use Batum in any format tonight.
FanDuel Value Forward Pick
JaMychal Green (vs HOU, $3,100)
JaMychal Green is playing huge minutes for the Memphis Grizzlies right now, and while he may not be playing all that well, he is on the court long enough to hit value regardless. Last game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he played 30 minutes. Unfortunately, he only scored 15.25 fantasy points, but in his two games against the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Golden State Warriors, he averaged 25 minutes and 25 fantasy points per game. He definitely has the ability to crush value, and any time you find a player that is going to play 25 plus minutes and only costs around $3,000, he is going to make for a great value play. Green is the best value play on the board as far as I'm concerned, and he will be in a majority of my lineups.
FanDuel Top Center Pick
Marc Gasol (vs HOU, $7,100)
Marc Gasol is one of the most consistent and best centers in the league right now. He is playing around 40 minutes per game, and he is generally scoring around 40 fantasy points per game right now. He started the season off rather slow, but he has really picked it up of recent. He has over 40 fantasy points in two of his last four games. The Houston Rockets are not going to be able to defend Gasol tonight, as they tend to allow a ton of fantasy points to opposing centers, and Gasol's price tag is a lot lower than the other elite options on the board. I will be using him in all of my cash games tonight.
