The Boston Celtics are no longer looking to their bench for fantasy production. They are going to lean on their starters against the Phoenix Suns tonight, so that is a great game to target for your FanDuel lineups.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA picks for FanDuel on 1/15/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Guards
Isaiah Thomas (vs PHO, $8,600)
Isaiah Thomas, or IT2 as we call him in the industry, gets a fantastic matchup against the Phoenix Suns, and he should be able to take full advantage of that. The Suns are an uptempo team that moves to push the pace of the game, but they fail to play significant defense. Brandon Knight is back tonight, but that isn't going to help the Suns' defense much, as Knight is primarily an offensive weapon.
IT2 has over 40 fantasy points in three of his last five games, two of which are over 50 fantasy points. He has a ton of upside, but he is also rather consistent. When he is assisting the ball well, that is when he is posting over 40 fantasy points. He is going to score without a doubt, but he doesn't always share. With over 30 minutes against the Suns, I'm willing to bet that over 40 fantasy points will come with ease. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments tonight.
Avery Bradley (vs PHO, $4,900)
Pairing IT2 with Avery Bradley is a great move tonight, as the Boston Celtics are not looking toward bench production as much anymore. That means that Avery Bradley is playing huge minutes. In his last three games, he has over 35 minutes in all three and over 40 minutes in one of them.
As I previously mentioned, the Phoenix Suns love to push the pace of the game, but do not play defense. Bradley is a fantastic scorer, and earlier this season, he showed off his great upside. He is a solid tournament play tonight, but he can also be used in 50/50 contests due to his 35 plus minutes per game.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Nicolas Batum (at NO, $7,100)
Nicolas Batum gets a great matchup tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans, but he has been shaky since returning from injury. Based on his previous two performances, do not use him in 50/50 contests. However, he makes for a great tournament option. In the fantasy world, we are looking for players that are not playing well instead of chasing fantasy points.
Batum is going to turn it around, as he is one of the best and most consistent small forwards in the league. The Pelicans barely play defense, and Batum should easily score over 30 fantasy points tonight, something he has not done since December 30th. This is a bold play, but his price tag is pretty low considering his ability to score 50 plus fantasy points on any given night. He should be settled into the lineup by now, so expect him to start flourishing.
Drew Gooden (at IND, $3,700)
With both Marcin Gortat and Kris Humphries out tonight, Drew Gooden is going to play 25-30 minutes again. He looked good two games ago against the Chicago Bulls, as he posted over 30 fantasy points in 27 minutes on the court. However, in his next game, which was against the Milwaukee Bucks, he only posted 12.5 fantasy points in the same amount of minutes.
Due to his inconsistency, do not use him in 50/50 contests. His price tag is far too low to avoid him although though. Use him in tournaments for sure. The Indiana Pacers are nothing special on defense, and Gooden should be able to return value.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Dwight Howard (vs CLE, $8,200)
Dwight Howard really struggled in the first half of his last game, which was against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He actually didn't pick up his first rebound until close to the second quarter. At half-time, it was looking very bleak for the Houston Rockets' center, but he turned it around and posted over 30 fantasy points.
If he would of played well in the first half of the game, he would of soared over 40 fantasy points for the third straight game. Howard has been very consistent of recent, and he also has a ton of upside. The Cleveland Cavaliers actually play well against the center position, but Howard is essentially matchup proof. There is really no reason to use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
