FanDuel DFS Guards
John Wall (at NO, $9,500)
John Wall is the best guard option on the board tonight, and he is even trustworthy in 50/50 contests based on his matchup tonight. The New Orleans Pelicans are one of the worst teams in the league against opposing point guards, and Wall is going to take full advantage of that tonight. In four of his last six games, he has over 50 fantasy points, and his price tag is well below both Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry. He has the same upside, but comes at a cheaper price. He was only one rebound away from the deadly triple-double in his last game against the Houston Rockets, and he single handedly propelled the Washington Wizards offense in that contest. There is no reason to avoid him tonight, as Jrue Holiday, Ish Smith, and whoever else the Pelicans decide to play at the point guard position tonight, are not going to be able to defend Wall.
O.J. Mayo (at TOR, $4,800)
O.J. Mayo is playing extremely well right now, and his price tag does not reflect that. In four straight games, Mayo has 24 or more fantasy points and 34 or more minutes per game. He generally does not add much in terms of rebounds or assists (despite getting eight assists in his last game against the Los Angeles Clippers), but he is a very effective scorer. The Milwaukee Bucks are struggling for offensive production so far this season, and Mayo is providing it. He should continue to score 20 plus fantasy points tonight against the Toronto Raptors, who are one of the faster paced teams in the league. Use him in any format, as his price tag is too low to pass up.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Paul George (vs MIA, $10,400)
Without arguing over real basketball, Paul George is the best small forward in the league as far as fake sports go. He is better value than both Kevin Durant and LeBron James, and he should be used in every format tonight against the Miami Heat. He is essentially matchup proof, as he just scored over 55 fantasy points against the Golden State Warriors in his last game, who actually have a solid defense. Against the Utah Jazz two games ago, he scored 66.1 fantasy points, and the Jazz are a slow-paced defensive team. Aside from his poor performance against the Portland Trailblazers, he is scoring over 50 fantasy points on a regular basis. The Miami Heat are not going to be able to stop him. With over 30 regular points in seven of his last 10 games, George is almost a no-brainer tonight.
Jared Sullinger (vs GS, $6,200)
Jared Sullinger gets a tough matchup against the Golden State Warriors tonight, but he will have to put the Boston Celtics on his back if they want to keep this game close. Sullinger, in his last two games, has been playing very well. Against the New Orleans Pelicans, he grabbed 20 rebounds and scored 11 points, which led to 36.5 fantasy points in 34 minutes. More impressively, against the Chicago Bulls, he scored 37.7 fantasy points in only 27 minutes. He is not very consistent, so he is far from a great 50/50 play, but in tournaments, his price tag is cheap enough to justify using him in a lot of lineups.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Marcin Gortat (at NO, $6,300)
Marcin Gortat is absolutely on fire right now. The New Orleans Pelicans are not one of the better defensive teams in the league, and Gortat should continue to play well tonight. In his last game, he had 18 points and 13 rebounds, which totaled 35.1 fantasy points. In his last 10 games, he only played in seven of them. In those seven games, he has scored over 30 fantasy points in six games. He is essentially a walking, talking, breathing double-double. There is no reason to avoid him, as he is much cheaper than most other center options on the board. He can be used in either format.
