NBA DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers - Fanduel Advice for 1/26

All throughout the 2014-15 NBA campaign, RotoBaller will be analyzing the top NBA DFS lineup picks and providing our expert advice for the best sleepers at the guard, forward and center positions. Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for January 26th, 2015.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

Worth the Investment

Tyreke Evans (NOH, G) - $7,500

Most everyone will look toward a Russell Westbrook tonight against Minnesota. However the price of just $7,500 against the putrid Sixers makes Tyreke Evans the must play player at the shooting guard position tonight. Since the injury to Jrue Holiday Evans has taken over point guard duties with a lot of success. He has only been under 27 fantasy points in one of the last 10 contests and is coming off of a big 24 point and 12 assist double-double against Dallas last night. With his minutes well into the 30s each night (he played all but six minutes last night) expect Evans to keep rolling tonight with another game that puts up at 4x value with the potential to put up a 50 fantasy point game.

Kevin Durant (OKC, F) - $10,600

While fading Westbrook is always a risk, I am going with Kevin Durant as the guy to target against the NBA’s worst team in Minnesota. Durant Almost seems like a bargain at $10,600 due to his recent play. In the last 10 games he has yet to be under 30 fantasy points while posting three games of over 50 fantasy points. With the Thunder in need of every win to get back into the playoff picture, Durant is logging heavy minutes with over 40 in three straight games. Some will fade him due to the potential of a blowout, however even in three quarters Durant should be able to post monster numbers against a Wolves team that is dead last in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing small forwards.

Marc Gasol (MEM, C) - $8,600

As the hottest fantasy player in the NBA, DeMarcus Cousins has seen his price go over the $11k mark and has moved into too expensive territory. At a discout of $2,500 you can use Gasol tonight against Orlando who is statistically the worst team in the NBA against opposing centers. Gasol often gets overlooked because he does not post the eye popping games of a Cousins or DeAndre Jordan, however his consistency is key. He's  provided 7 straight games over 31 fantasy points while also going over 40 twice in that time. Even if the Grizzlies start to pull away that should not slow down Gasol who scored 33.4 fantasy points in just 25 minutes last night against the Sixers.

Top Sleepers

Langston Galloway (NYK, PG) - $4,800

The Knicks newest attraction has yet to see a huge jump in price despite playing over 30 minutes and scoring over 20 fantasy points in each of the last four games. The former D-Leaguer has proven to be a spark for New York who appear to be playing their best basketball of this horrific season. With his price still under $5k, Galloway is likely to be the highest owned player at any position tonight and fading him against a middle of the pack Hornets team could be an unwise decision.

Brandon Bass (BOS, F) - $4,800

After a blistering four game stretch that saw him average over 30 fantasy points, Bass was cooled off last night against the Nuggets with just 8 points and 9 rebounds. The good news for daily fantasy players is that he was still given over 30 minutes in that game and Kelly Olynyk looks to be out for the extended future with wrist issues. Bass likely does not have too many more 40+ fantasy points nights as he did last week, but for this price he only needs 25 fantasy points to hit value which he has successfully done in three of the past five games. Like Galloway, expect Bass’ ownership percentage to be quite high tonight.
