NBA DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers - FanDuel Advice for 3/14/15

All throughout the 2014-15 NBA campaign, RotoBaller will be analyzing the top NBA DFS lineup picks and providing our expert advice for the best sleepers at the guard, forward and center positions. Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for March 14th, 2015.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

Worth The Investment

John Wall (WAS, PG) - $9,000

The King backcourt has been atrocious checking up opposing guards pretty much all season and even more so as of late.  Opposing points are averaging 49.8 FDPPG over the last give against the Kings, the most of any team during this span.  Add in that Sacramento is playing in its second straight night and Stephen Curry may see limited time in a blowout, and Wall suddenly becomes a top point guard option for Saturday night.

Derrick Favors (UTA, PF) - $7,900

With the exception of one stinker against the Celtics on ten days ago, Favors has put up a nice string of solid performances against both weak and solid defenses.  Detroit enters the game giving up the most FDPPG on the season to opposing power forwards, which should help Favors notch that five double-double in eight games.  Though he has been solid as of late, the ceiling for him should not be higher than about 41 FDP, so do not count on him to have absurdly high numbers.  That being said, he is a solid bet to add considerable production across the board, meaning he will not be a high risk.

Gordon Hayward (UTA, SF) - $7,800

Saturday night is looking like it will be a tough night for the league’s swingmen.  There is really no clear player that stands out above the field.  Hayward is probably the closest to that option.  He has scored at least 24 points in his last three games while shooting nearly 49% from the field in the month of March.  His 123 ORtating in March is a personal best for the 2014-15 season and he tends to play some of his best basketball on Saturdays, if you are into checking player’s daily splits.

On the other side of the ball, Detroit is coming off zero days of rest and a 19 point drubbing at the hands of Portland.  Tayshaun Prince has been a solid defender throughout his career, but Hayward is playing at a higher level and should take advantage of the individual matchups.

Rudy Gobert (UTA, C) - $7,700

WARNING: Gobert is listed as questionable with an ankle injury and it is very possible he does not play.  If he does play and is completely healthy, he is the top center value option for Saturday night.  Most likely Gobert will not play, so the new pick at center is….

Brook Lopez (BKN, C) - $7,200

Though Marcin Gortat of the Wizards is probably playing a bit better, Lopez has the more exploitable matchup against Philadelphia.  It should not shock anyone that the Sixers’ frontcourt has been among the worst all season defensively.  Opposing big men have had field days against Philadelphia and there is no reason it should not continue for a hot Lopez on Saturday night.

Brad Beal (WAS, SG) - $5,700

The Kings and Wizards matchup looks to be among the highest scoring of the day, so it is no wonder there will be a lot of targets from these two teams.  The Wizards are clearly a different and better team with Beal in the lineup.  His numbers have not been overwhelming but that just leaves the door open for his price to drop.  Look for Beal to take advantage of a porous Kings defense that has given up over 47 FDPPG to opposing two guards over their last five.

Top Sleeper

Ray McCallum (SAC, PG) - $5,000

Kings coach George Karl is a big fan of Andre Miller so there is the possibility that McCallum splits time with the wily veteran.  McCallum and Miller have seen about the same playing time since the injury to starter Darren Collison, but McCallum’s numbers have been better.  With that pricetag, it is hard to pass up on McCallum against a Wizards team that has struggled at times against athletics guards.
