NBA DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers – FanDuel Advice for 4/4/15

We’re entering the final weeks of the NBA season but that does not mean you have to quit fantasy basketball.

We have provided our daily picks throughout the year and we will continue to push hard during these last regular season games. Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for Saturday April 4th, 2015.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

Worth The FanDuel Investment

Anthony Davis (NOP, PF) - $12,200

He is the most well-rounded big man in the game and every night he should be a strong consideration to own. Pay the unibrow.

Stephen Curry (GSW, PG) - $9,800

After locking up the number one seed last week, it would have been prudent to think that head coach Steve Kerr would rest his plays. Na-uh. Kerr clearly does not want his Warriors to go limping into the playoffs. Starters like Curry have seen at least 30 minutes of playing time since the home court was clinched.

During that time, it seems Curry has made it his personal crusade to successfully break his opponents’ ankles. His rival Chris Paul has a better matchup on Saturday night, but Curry is $1,200 less and they should both end up with similar FDP. Hence, Curry is better value against Dallas.

Al Jefferson (CHA, C) - $7,400

Clearly if Jefferson is healthy enough to see court time then playing him is a no-brainer. That being said, the Charlotte big man did not play in the second half of Friday’s game due to right knee soreness. The Sixers matchup is an exploitable one, but that does not matter if Jefferson does not play due to injury. If Jefferson is your guy at the center position, make sure to check his status constantly.

Other Center to Consider: Hassan Whiteside (MIA, $7,800)

Gerald Henderson (CHA, SF) - $5,600

Looking for value at the swing position for Saturday could be tough. With the exception of Gordon Hayward, there aren’t that many top tier options. Henderson is not exactly a top option, but he does decimate inferior opponents. And it does not get any more inferior than the Philadelphia 76ers.

Luol Deng (MIA, SF) - $5,500

Dwyane Wade suffered an injury Thursday and is apparently sick as well. He has stated there is a chance he can go Saturday night against the Pistons, but just how effective can a hobbled Wade be? Deng will be more of a scoring threat for the Heat and his price tag is nearly $2,000 cheaper than Wade’s.

Eric Gordon (NOP, SG) - $5,100

Gordon has had a bit of a see-saw 10-game span. Some days he will hit nearly 33 FDP and other days he is topping out at 6.5. Though he has been inconsistent, he will be squaring off against a Portland team that has been rather forgiving to opposing shooting guards over their last ten. Look for Gordon to hit that 30 FDP plateau again.

DFS Sleeper & Value Picks

Patrick Patterson (PF, TOR) - $4,200

Against the Nets on Friday night, Amir Johnson went out with a sprained ankle. He could miss extended time depending on severity. Players that suffer sprained ankles typically see diminished time over the next week so it is safe to assume Patterson should get the bulk of the minutes Saturday night against Boston team that has yielded 40.4 FDP to power forwards per game on the season.

Shelvin Mack (ATL, PG) - $3,600

It is safe to say that head coach Mike Budenholzer is going the opposite route of Kerr and will be resting his banged up starters as much as possible for the rest of the regular season. Point guard Jeff Teague will more than likely get the start Saturday, but he has seen limited minutes since the Hawks clinched the East and that trend will continue. Mack will be replacing an injured Dennis Schroeder. In the minimal amount of minutes he has played, Mack has actually played efficient basketball. He won’t be a top scorer Saturday night, but he will give phenomenal value against the Nets.
