NBA DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers – FantasyScore Advice for 12/27

All throughout the 2014-15 campaign, RotoBaller will be giving you the top NBA DFS lineup picks at the guard, forward and center positions as well as a couple of sleepers for the day. Below are our favorite picks for December 27th, 2014.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

Editor’s Note: RotoBaller is proud to be partnering with FantasyScore, our new and exclusive DFS partner. As a subsidiary of the USA TODAY Sports Media Group, FantasyScore has the most exciting promotional offer in the DFS industry.

Worth the Investment

John Wall (WAS, G) - $8200

Boston has played Washington tough this season but they’ve been stoneWALLed by the Wizards point guard.  Wall scored 57.00 and 61.75 FSP, respectively, in two games on 12/7 and 12/8 against the Celtics.  And that was with Rajon Rondo.

Marc Gasol (MEM, C) - $7800

Chris Bosh is still questionable with a calf injury so the Heat will probably feature plenty a three-headed platoon monster of Chris Andersen, Justin Hamilton and Udonis Haslem to slow down the Memphis frontcourt.  Expect Gasol to take advantage of any of those matchups one-on-one.  He should grab his fair share of boards as well because the Heat are last in the league in total rebounding percentage.  As with most one sided predictions, beware the blowout potential.

Jimmy Butler (CHI, F) - $6500

It’s just too hard to pass up on Butler given his price tag and value.  He’s been the Bulls most consistent offensive player throughout the 2014 campaign.  Even with the return of Derrick Rose, Butler will still have plenty of scoring chances and will be a central part of a deadly inside-out trio of the two with Pau Gasol.  Look for Butler to exploit a weak backcourt defense against New Orleans.

Top Sleeper

Marreese Speights (GSW, F) - $3000

The Warriors will probably take big advantage of a weak Timberwolves team so it’s probable that a lot of backups get plenty of time.  Both Minnesota and Golden State love to play with pace so it should be a high scoring affair.  Speights has recently lost a little playing time with the return of David Lee, so if Golden State does jump out to a big league early, Lee could get some rest and Speights could see big numbers.
