NBA DFS Prop Picks for 12/5/19 - Monkey Knife Fight

Welcome back, RotoBallers!

Let's skip the chit-chat and get down to it. We have a smaller four-game slate on this Thursday night, so let's see if I can find three prop lines I like for you to take a look at.

You can follow me on Twitter @BellRoto. This is a great time for NBA content as Christmas time rolls around. If you have more questions about these prop bets or other NBA DFS situations, hit me up throughout the day on Twitter. Let’s do it!

Joel Embiid (PHI) OVER 26.5 Points

The Sixers get the best fantasy matchup in basketball tonight against the fast-paced Wizards who are good enough on offense to keep games close but one of the (if not THE) worst teams on defense. Before his minutes were limited against the Jazz last time out, Embiid had scored 27 or more points in three straight. This is by far the best of those situations, and the Washington bigs are all sorts of banged up. Embiid should eat tonight.

Julius Randle (NYK) OVER 17.5 Points

I was hoping to be able to bet the under on this prop, but the line was just set too low for what Randle has been doing lately. I get that Denver has been one of the stingiest defenses in the league this year, and the Knicks total is implied to be about three points lower because of that. However, Randle's usage has been over 31% the last two games, and he's had 19 or more points in his last four contests. I think this line is selling him short, and he'll find a way to get his in MSG tonight, especially if Marcus Morris sits again.

Jrue Holiday (NOP) UNDER 19.5 Points

I love Jrue Holiday as a basketball player, and I'll take the OVER on everything when he's going to be a ball-dominate point guard with high usage. However, with Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball back to full health here, that's no longer the case. Phoenix has the sixth best defense in the league against shooting guards, and Holiday will play off-ball whenever Lonzo Ball is on the court. With his usage well below 30% in a healthy New Orleans offense, I'll take the under on Holiday tonight.
