NBA Playoffs DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers – FanDuel Advice for 5/10/15

Happy Mother's Day to all those mothers out there! Make sure to take time out of your sports-watching day to call or talk to your mother and wish her a happy day. I know my mom has put up a lot with me, and she deserves any and all of the love and affection that'll be showered her way today. Though I highly doubt you'll spend your day watching NBA playoff basketball, celebrate however you want today, Mom. You've earned it.

We have provided our daily picks throughout the year and we will continue to push hard during this second NBA season. Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for Saturday May 10th, 2015.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

Premium DFS Lineup Tools

RotoBaller's Premium NBA DFS Tools help you win your head-to-heads and GPPs. With a 1-Day Free Trial of our NBA DFS Premium Pass, you can even test drive these DFS tools for free for 24 hours:

  • Player vs. Player Comparison: Compare up to five players' recent FanDuel fantasy points to find the highest scoring players for your lineups.
  • Player vs. Team Comparison: Compare up to five players' FanDuel points vs. any team to find players with the best matchups for your lineups.

Both of these tools will show you players' points per game and points per minute over any custom date range. This information can help you gain an edge with your NBA DFS lineups.

The Usual Suspects

Blake Griffin (LAC, PF) - $11,300

He has consistently been the best player of the postseason. C’mon bro, pay up.

LeBron James (CLE, SF) - $11,300

The King will have to do it all again as his supporting cast continues to disappear.

James Harden (HOU, SG) - $10,000

The beard is a must-play, mainly because of the rest of the field at the two-guard slot.

Dwight Howard (HOU, C) - $9,000

DeAndre Jordan (LAC, C) - $8,500

There’s only a $500 difference between Howard and DeAndre Jordan, and realistically there's probably not a whole lot of point differential between the two. Howard will probably have a few more points, but Jordan's price tag allows for more oh-so-important lineup flexibility.

The Bracket-Buster Role-Players

Jamal Crawford (LAC, SG) - $5,300

As Chris Paul continues to climb back from his injured hamstring and works his way back into his fair share of minutes, Crawford has looked solid in handling point guard duties when he is on the court, even as he has gone 14-for-40 from the field. Crawford is too good of a shooter for those buckets to continue to miss.

Corey Brewer (HOU, SF) - $4,200

Houston looks dazed and confused after three games. It seems like everyone is scoring from all parts of the court with little effort. Part of that is a little luck, but most of that is the atrocious defense that Houston has presented. Starter Trevor Ariza will continue to get the bulk of the minutes, but Houston can't ignore its bench for too long. Coach Kevin McHale might have to go with a small lineup and possibly play Brewer at the four.

Austin Rivers (LAC, PG) - $4,200

Doc’s son has clearly found something he likes in the Houston defense. It was clear the Clippers would need everyone to step up after the Paul injury, but this is ridiculous. Literally everyone is stepping up. Rivers offers great value off the bench as he continues to work his way into more and more minutes at the point with the first team.

Jason Terry (HOU, PG) - $3,100

Any time a starting point guard is available at that price and a DFS manager wants to go stars and scrubs-- as is the case with the author-- then it’s hard to not roster said guard. It’s even better that the ageless Terry has looked increasingly comfortable as the starter. The veteran has seen increased FDP in each game of this series. There’s no reason he can’t top 20 FDP on Sunday.

Nikola Mirotic (CHI, PF) - $2,000

Realistically, Taj Gibson is going to be more productive as Pau Gasol (hamstring) is listed as doubtful on Sunday. It’s highly unlikely that Gasol will go, so immediately every power forward on Chicago should get looks in DFS lineups. Mirotic plays more like Gasol than Gibson does, meaning that the Bulls can find comfort in running their same offense with Mirotic on the court. Plus, he's available at the bare minimum, and isn’t that what DFS players are always looking for?
