NBA Playoffs DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers - FanDuel Advice for 5/6/15

After the first few days of the second round, it appears we will be in a for a few long series. If all goes according to Vegas in Wednesday's games, every series will be tied one game apiece as they all move to the lower seeds' courts. This makes for compelling fan viewership but more importantly, for maximum DFS plays. Let the lineup shuffling continue!

We have provided our daily picks throughout the year and we will continue to push hard during this second NBA season. Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for Wednesday May 6th, 2015.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

Worth the FanDuel Investment

Blake Griffin (PF, LAC) - $11,400

This has to be a no-doubter in almost every lineup. Chris Paul is listed as doubtful and because the Clippers took Game One, there is a strong possibility they handle him the way the Wizards handled John Wall-- by sitting their point guard. With Paul on the bench, Griffin has to be the one-man wrecking crew that he has been in this postseason. Who will stop him?

Kyrie Irving (PG, CLE) - $10,000

The evidence is well documented. Derrick Rose in the year 2015 needs at least two days rest for peak production. Cleveland’s starting point guard gets the nod in what will be the first of many lineup decisions based on the Rose assumption. Irving will not allow the Cavs to lose two straight at home.

James Harden (SG, HOU) - $10,000

Fear the beard. Harden amazingly gave up nine turnovers and only made it to the charity stripe six times in Game One. No chance Harden does that again. Expect a huge bounce back performance.

Pau Gasol (PF, CHI) - $8,500

The loss of Kevin Love hurts Cleveland’s offense, no doubt. However, it may be a bigger problem for the Cavs on the defensive end against big men that can spread the floor-- exactly the type of play that Gasol thrives on. Tristan Thompson and Timofey Mozgov aren’t athletic enough to cover Gasol on the perimeter, LeBron James will have his hands full covering Jimmy Butler and Kendrick Perkins will most likely see the bench while Gasol is on the floor. Good luck on defense, Cleveland.

Jamal Crawford (SG, LAC) - $5,100

Crawford played exceedingly well in the fourth quarter of Game One, so much so that it's possible he could take over at the point with Paul (most likely) sitting out Game Two. A starting point guard for a high-scoring offense at this price is extremely hard to ignore.

FanDuel Sleepers & Value Picks

Mike Dunleavy (SF, CHI) - $4,200

Dunleavy has found new life in the playoffs. With the exception of a disastrous Game Five, Dunleavy has hit at least 21 FDPPG. He should exploit his matchup with Iman Shumpert.

Kirk Hinrich (PG, CHI) - $2,000

This is clearly another lineup decision based on the fallout from the Rose assumption. Add in that Chicago did what they were supposed to do in game one, and it is possible that Rose sees a sharp decline in minutes. Hinrich steps in to do some mop up duties and gives his owners some valuable FDP at a dirt cheap price.
