Deep league teams are hard to manage. If one of your players gets injured or is just playing some bad ball, it's pretty tough to replace him since there's not too much talent left on the waiver wire. But do not despair.
Just because there isn't a player available who seems to be top tier it doesn't mean that one of the ones who is a free agent won't become valuable to your team. Don't get too attached to the players at the end of your bench if you don't believe they will turn it around in a big way. You might just strike gold from the wire and if not, a streaming spot is not a bad idea either.
Here are today's Week 16 deeper league waiver wire pickups for your fantasy basketball teams. It just happens that all three suggestions are SG/SF eligible, so you'dd like help on those positions one of them might just be the gold you're looking to strike. Cheers!

C.J. Miles, SG/SF, IND (28% owned in Yahoo! leagues)
C.J. Miles started the season off as a bench player for the Pacers having played less than 25 minutes in the first six games of the season. Since then his minutes vary by the day, but recently it seems that he is looking at consistent minutes as the starting shooting guard in Indiana. In his last four, he averaged 13.3 PTS with 3.0 3PM on 45.0 FG% and no misses in five attempts from the line, 3.5 REB, 0.5 AST, 0.3 STL, 0.8 BLK and 0.3 TO in 28 minutes per game. That's very efficient for a three-point shooter of Miles' volume.
He is a career 41.7% shooter, but he has improved that to 43.7% this season so that efficiency might just stick. And his career 80.2% climbed to 86.7% so it seems C.J. has worked on his shot in the offseason. He took over the starting gig from Monta Ellis, and with the way they both have been playing, that change looks to be permanent.
If you're in need of threes and would like to become even more competitive in the percentages and turnovers columns you should definitely give Miles a look. If he keeps his current form up he could be a big contributor to your teams success.

Andre Roberson, SG/SF, OKC (15% owned in Yahoo! leagues)
Andre Roberson has been the starter for the Thunder this whole season, but still remains owned in only 15% of the leagues. And that's after he strung a couple of big performances together. The reason is mainly his lack of offensive plays. He is a defensive specialist in Oklahoma and gives most of his energy on that end of the court. And let's be honest, with Russell Westbrook on the team, Oklahoma doesn't really need to run plays for Roberson.
It's an injustice that Roberson is so under-appreciated in the fantasy world. But you can't blame fantasy owners for not picking him up. His game just doesn't translate that well to fantasy. If we counted the amount of baskets he prevented or the number of shots he contested then he would be a stud. But sadly, we do not. He still helps his owner in plenty of stats with 6.7 PTS and 0.6 3PM on 44.2 FG%, 5.1 REB, 1.0 AST, 1.2 STL, 1.0 BLK and 0.7 TO in 31 minutes per game this season. He is abysmal from the free throw line with 41.5% but he shoots just 1.5 a game so you wouldn't necessarily need to punt FT with him. And you just can't find that kind of defensive stats that deep on the wire.
Andre has been even better in his last three with averages of 11.0 points on 62.5% from the field and 50.0% from the line, 9.7 boards, 1.0 dimes, 2.0 steals, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 turnovers in 38 minutes per game. Those insane stats are probably unsustainable for him, but just the fact that he is capable of those kind of lines make him a target in more than just the deepest of leagues.

Nik Stauskas, SG/SF, PHI (6% owned in Yahoo! leagues)
Nik Stauskas has been one of the players who saw most consistent minutes so far this season with 27 per game. To be honest, he didn't do too much with that time since he averaged 8.9 PTS with 1.6 3PM on 40.4 FG% and 83.1 FT%, 2.7 REB, 2.3 AST, 0.5 STL, 0.4 BLK and 1.5 TO. There's not too much value there for fantasy owners besides a few threes and a humble contribution in other stats. And the FG% and turnovers don't really help fantasy teams either.
But Nik's coach seems to trust him. And Stauskas proves him right every once in a while. He did so in his previous two games where he averaged 14.5 points with 3.0 three-pointers on 50.0% from the field and no misses in five attempts from the line, 6.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.5 turnovers in 30 minutes per outing. He didn't have any steals or blocks and those high turnovers do put a dent in his surging performances, but the threes, boards, dimes and efficiency make up for it.
Stauskas' minutes seem to be safe at around high 20s to low 30s and his recent performances may be an indication of him finally finding his groove. If Nik's shots keep falling and he keeps passing and rebounding as he has done lately he could be worth owning in more and more leagues. And a steal or a block here and there, which he's bound to get, won't hurt either.
