ANALYSIS: Nelson Agholor can call home proud of his 2020 season. Sure, the Raiders failed to make the postseason after losing their W16 game against Miami. But Agholor had a monster game that added another line to a great season in which he was one of the main reasons Las Vegas stayed alive almost until the final second. All of that while flying under the radar all year long and never getting rostered in more than 60% of leagues.
Last Saturday, in a win-or-go-home game, Agholor was a beast playing wideout for the Raiders. The receiver finished catching 5 of his 6 targets for a season-high 155 yards and a touchdown. All in all, he racked up 26.5 PPR points, which meant he played to 4.8 PPR points above his previous-best game (W7 vs. TB). And obviously, fantasy GMs keep forgetting about Agholor...
That's why Agholor can be found in WW of almost half of Yahoo leagues, which makes no sense at this point through the season and given the WR performance in Las Vegas. Only Darren Waller and Agholor have averaged more than 8.5 PPR per game this season among Raiders' pass-catchers, with Hunter Renfrow coming in third at just 8.3 PPG.
If you are still battling for a fantasy championship next weekend, considering rostering and playing Agholor as your WR2/3 almost no matter the depth of your league. The Raiders face a bottom-half defense in Denver (18th-best against fantasy WRs) in a matchup that should benefit Agholor and boost up his upside for W17.
