ANALYSIS: San Francisco 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens has proved his mettle the last couple of weeks after being on the verge of losing the starting job following Week 12. He threw for 332 yards and a pair of scores against the Broncos, giving him consecutive 300+ yard efforts and nine touchdowns in five starts.

Mullens now faces Seattle a second time, the team he posted a career-high 414 yards against recently. Playing at home, this game could be closer and result in less garbage time yardage for Mullens.
