BALLER MOVE: Target ~340
CURRENT ADP: 384
ANALYSIS: Cincinnati Reds third baseman Nick Senzel will attend his first big league Spring Training when his team opens camp in February. Senzel is the Reds' No. 1 ranked prospect and is the No. 2 third base prospect in all of baseball, according to MLB Pipeline. While Senzel is a third baseman by trade, the Reds also plan to get him time at second base, shortstop, and the outfield this spring.
Senzel played a combined 119 games between Single-A and Double-A in 2017, combining for a .321 average, 14 homers, and 65 RBI. Senzel is likely to begin the season at Triple-A but he is very likely to get a look in the majors at some point in the 2018 season. He is worth targeting in dynasty and keeper formats and has the chance to be an impact bat in standard leagues when he does get the call to the show. For now, just keep an eye on his progress and be ready to scoop him off of waivers when he inevitably earns a big league call-up. For those in deeper leagues, or those with minor league slots, he is a great pick in one of the last two rounds.
