No Sophomore Slump For Allen Robinson in 2015

Allen Robinson was an absolute stud in 2015. AR15 and Blake Bortles showed a great rapport and it led to the both of them being top five fantasy players at their respective positions. Robinson was tied for the most receiving touchdowns (14) with Brandon Marshall and Doug Baldwin, along with a tallied 1400 receiving yards. It was a fantastic bounce back for Robinson after his rookie season ended early due to a stress fracture in his foot.

At 6'3" and 215 pounds, Robinson is a big target who has some open field moves and along with his incredible deep ball ability he created a matchup problem for opposing teams. Not only that but having a secondary receiver like Allen Hurns definitely spread defenses thin.

This GIF shows exactly what Robinson does best. He goes up to grab the ball, he creates separation with double moves, and can rack up yards after the catch with his shifty moves. He also attacks the ball, rather than waiting for the pass to come to him.

Let's talk about the guy throwing Robinson the ball for a second. Blake Bortles had a great rookie season, despite some problems holding on to the football. As he improves, Robinson will likely only continue his ascent up the fantasy wide receiver ranks. If the Jaguars can establish more of a ground attack in 2016-17, the run game should help soften up defenses and open up chances for Robinson to make big plays.

The defense wasn't great for Jacksonville, and, while that wasn't ideal for the team, it helped Bortles' and Robinson's fantasy owners. Having other teams shred them on defense meant Bortles had to air it out to his wide receivers.

In terms of where Robinson should go in drafts next season, he should be drafted as exactly what he was this season: a top five WR.
