ANALYSIS: Heading into the 2019 NFL season, there were two rookie tight ends that should’ve been on your radar. T.J. Hockenson and Noah Fant. Both tight ends played together at Iowa and are extremely talented and athletic freaks. Tight ends don’t typically burst onto the season and produce for fantasy football immediately, but take some time to acclimate and ultimately, provide value for your fantasy teams.

Fant has had just one game this year with double-digit fantasy points, which came against the Jaguars where he caught his lone touchdown of the season. Don’t expect to pick up Fant and use him right away, but as he continues to get acclimated to the NFL, he could potentially be someone that produces during the second half of the fantasy football season. I’d be looking at Fant if you’re in deeper leagues as someone to stash if you are streaming tight ends, but if you’re looking for someone to pick up and start right away, I’d look elsewhere until we see more out of the rookie.
