BALLER MOVE: Add in all leagues
OWNED IN: 22% of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: Odubel rules! I liked this kid a lot last season, but that had more to do with the fact he could play second base, outfield, and shortstop in Yahoo Leagues. This year the position eligibility is just at OF, but his value as a hitter has skyrocketed. Herrera has made it a point to cut down on strikeouts and to take more pitches, and it's showing. Herrera's .432 OBP is one of the best marks in the league right now. He's drawn 17 walks this season, even though it took him all season to draw 28 in 2015. The .348 BABIP does suggest some minor regression, but I'm all in.
Herrera is an interesting power/speed combination and could help people make up for the loss of someone like A.J. Pollock. I could see Odubel hitting 10-15 home runs and stealing 20 bases. Where he bats in the lineup will affect those numbers, as Herrera has hit leadoff and in the three spot. Regardless of position, I think he deserves to be owned in all leagues.
