OwnersBox Quarterback Picks
On OwnersBox, you have the option of starting two quarterbacks as this is a Superflex contest.
Trey Lance, SF ($5,300) - vs HOU
This is only an option if Jimmy Garoppolo sits, and it is currently shaping up that way. If so, we get some solid salary relief here with Lance, who can provide you some added points on the ground as he has 137 rushing yards through action in five games. Houston has allowed an average of nearly 17 fantasy points per game to the quarterback position this season, which is what we are looking to score with this play.
Matthew Stafford, LAR ($7,600) - at BAL
We are going back to the Matthew Stafford well again this week, especially after Joe Burrow just torched this Ravens defense for 525 passing yards and four touchdowns one week ago. On the season, the Ravens have allowed an average of 280 passing yards per game to quarterbacks, which is ranked worst in the league. They have also allowed an average of 20 fantasy points per game to the quarterback position, which is ranked second-worst in the league.
OwnersBox Running Back Picks
D'Onta Foreman, TEN ($4,800) - vs MIA
Foreman has averaged nearly 16 carries per game over his previous four games, which is too much volume to ignore given his current price tag on OB. The Titans will enter this game as favorites, which should lead to more carries against this Dolphins defense. While they have been better lately, Miami has still allowed nearly 84 rushing yards per game to running backs while also allowing 71 receptions on the season.
Jonathan Taylor, IND ($7,900) - vs LV
Taylor now has over 100 rushing yards in four of his previous five games. The matchup this week is a great one as the Colts will enter the game as touchdown favorites against a Raider defense that has allowed quite a bit of success to running backs as seven backfields have gotten them for over 100 rushing yards this season. Taylor should see plenty of volume once again in this one and should be in line for a big day.
OwnersBox Wide Receiver Picks
Jaylen Waddle, MIA ($6,100) - at TEN
Waddle is a PPR machine and that becomes very important in a contest like this, which features PPR scoring. He has hauled in eight or more balls in four consecutive games and five of his previous six games. He will be going up against a Titans defense that has been strong against the run but has allowed wide receivers to average the second-most fantasy points per game on the season with an average of over 41 points.
Odell Beckham Jr., LAR ($5,600) - at MIN
We are going to pair up Stafford with OBJ once again this week for many of the reasons mentioned in Stafford's write-up. The Ravens have allowed a ton of production in the passing game to quarterbacks and have allowed wide receivers to average nearly 38 fantasy points per game, which is ranked fifth-worst in the league. OBJ has seen nearly six targets per game over the previous four weeks and should be involved in this game as well.
