OwnersBox Guard Picks
Josh Richardson, BOS - SG ($17,600) - 4 games
Richardson has been providing some nice scoring over the past two games, with 13 against Dallas and then 15 against the Raptors.
Add in a block in each of the past two games plus three steals against Toronto and you can some solid value upside out of Richardson. He's probably not going to single-handedly win you this contest, but you need guys for under 20k who can give you reliable numbers, so I'm rostering Richardson for that reason.
Malik Monk, LAL - SG ($16,000) - 4 games
Feeling risky?
The Lakers are being followed by a trail of injury devastation, which appears to potentially benefit Malik Monk, who played 35 minutes last game and went off: 27 points on 10-for-13 shooting with six rebounds, three assists, one block, and four threes.
Monk has the talent to light up the scoreboard when he's needed to fill that role. There's a good chance that the Lakers will need that out of him for at least a little while.
OwnersBox Forward Picks
Tobias Harris, PHI - SG ($24,000) - 3 games
Joel Embiid is out for the next or so as he entered the league's health and safety protocols.
So, good timing for Harris to return from his own quarantine. Taking on the role as the team's main offensive weapon with Emiid out, Harris put up 19 points on 7-for-18 shooting, plus added seven rebounds, seven assists, and one block.
Harris is set to maintain a sizable role during this OB contest, so if you can squeeze him into your lineup, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Drew Eubanks, SAS - PF ($19,200) - 4 games
Jakob Poeltl remains out because of COVID-19 and will likely miss at least a couple more games.
Drew Eubanks has seen an expanded role with Poeltl out. Starting the past four games, Eubanks is playing 21.9 minutes per contest with averages of 11.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game. He had 18 points against the Kings and is just a really solid DFS value play right now, though there's a chance you'll see his minutes wane by the end of the week, so play more than six games at PF so you can get that best ball activation.
OwnersBox Center Picks
Frank Kaminsky, PHO - C ($18,400) - 4 games
Deandre Ayton has missed the last three games with a leg injury. In that time, Frank Kaminsky is averaging 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.3 threes per game.
That includes a 31-point explosion last time out.
Will Ayton return soon? IDK. He's doubtful for Friday, so we have at least one more game of Kaminsky commanding a huge role on this team. He's outplaying the current starting center, JaVale McGee, in such a way that I wouldn't be shocked to see Kaminsky moved into the starting five until Ayton heals and to maintain a sizable role once Ayton is back in the fold.
