The Philadelphia Phillies placed Chase Utley on the revocable trade waivers on Saturday, according to Fox Sports, which means the second baseman could be on his way out of Philly.
If Utley goes through waivers unclaimed, the Phillies could trade the 36-year-old veteran to any team. The question is what team would want the former six-time All-Star who has been struggling this season. The lefty posted an underwhelming .179/.257/.275 triple slash line before injuring his ankle.

In his three games back from the injury, Utley has gone 4-for-10 with 2 RBI. The time off to get healthy could be a good sign for any team that wants to acquire a player who helped win a World Series with the Phillies.
There are plenty of teams that could go after Utley and start him at second base or even bring the veteran bat off the bench.
One of the teams interested is the defending World Series champion San Francisco Giants, according to CSNPhilly.com. He has a no-trade clause, which means he can veto any trade to a team he doesn't want to go to after spending his entire career with the Phillies.

The waiver trade deadline is on Aug. 31. While teams can still make trades after the deadline, any player traded after Aug. 31 is ineligible for the postseason.
