NASCAR DFS Tiered Rankings: Federated Auto Parts Salute to the American Heroes 400 (Premium Content)

All other NASCAR Premium Tools can be accessed on the premium dashboard.

Welcome to RotoBaller's Tiered Rankings for the twenty-eighth race of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season, the Federated Auto Parts Salute to the American Heroes 400 at Richmond Raceway. For those that are viewing these rankings for the first time, here is how the sheet works.

There are two sets of DFS tiered rankings featured below, with one set of rankings focused on DraftKings DFS contests while the other is focused on FanDuel. Every driver that will officially be starting in this week's race will be listed in a particular tier based on their salary for each site. The tiers feature drivers that have similar price ranges and are ranked based on their final outlook, which is determined by a combination of a driver's expected performance for this week's race as well as their salary.

These ranks will help you make tough lineup calls, telling you which drivers must be started over others in each tier. DFS players from any skill level can use these rankings in order to create a lineup that will cash out.

The second race of the first round of the 2021 Cup Series playoffs takes place at Richmond Raceway. Richmond is a 0.75-Mile short oval track that features very few passing lanes that make it hard for drivers to advance positions. At the site, drivers tend to use their bumpers in order to move others for position which also can cause others to wreck out and eliminate DFS lineups from contention in any contests. Richmond is also known in recent years for having one to three different drivers dominate the majority of the race and lead a lot of laps. In each of the last six races at the track in the Cup Series, there was at least one driver to lead over 100 laps each. When creating DFS lineups for this week, include as many racers that are potential dominators as possible especially since the lap count at Richmond races are higher than most tracks in the Cup Series. This week's ranks are influenced by races at other tracks using this week's rules package, which was used at all other short tracks as well as road courses and last week's race at Darlington. Good luck RotoBallers
