PrizePicks MLB DFS Prop Picks for Fantasy Baseball - Friday July 15th

Brandon Woodruff - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Hello everybody and welcome! The 2022 MLB season is alive and well and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of.

PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

MLB DFS Prop Picks for 7/15/22

Brandon Woodruff over 6.5 strikeouts - We are going back to another Brewers' starting pitcher against the Giants after Corbin Burnes hooked us up with 10 strikeouts last night. The Giants are now posting the ninth-highest K rate over the previous two weeks with a rate of 24% and are also posting just a 75 wRC+ mark over that same span. Woodruff has been great since coming off the IL and has now eclipsed this total in his previous three starts.

Clayton Kershaw over 7.0 strikeouts - We whiffed on Framber against the Angles last night after he was cruising through the first two innings. That hopefully is not the case tonight as Kershaw has been on a roll having struck out 18 over his previous 14 2/3 IPs. The Angels have been abysmal recently and are posting a K rate of 35.7% over the previous two weeks, which is not shockingly still ranked dead last in baseball.

Hunter Greene over 5.5 strikeouts - Hunter Greene may be a bit dicey tonight, but he did strike out seven Cardinals in his most start against them on June 11th. He has struck out at least six in 11 of his previous 14 starts. The Cardinals have shown the propensity to strike out vs. right-handed pitching this season and are currently posting a rate of 22.9% over the previous two weeks, which is ranked in the bottom half of the league. They are also posting just a 91 wRC+ over that same span, which is not enough to scare off this play.

Robbie Ray over 6.5 strikeouts - Robbie Ray scares me the most tonight, but he will be facing a Rangers' squad that is striking out at a clip of 29.5% against southpaws over the previous two weeks, which is ranked second-worst behind only the Angels. That being said, they are also posting a 139 wRC+ mark over that same span, so this is where the risk comes into play. Ray has managed to get at least seven in three of his previous five starts and should have a decent shot to do it again here as long as he can keep the ball in the park long enough to stay in the game.

Other Recommendations - German Marquez over 5.0 strikeouts, Austin Riley over 1.5 total bases
