PrizePicks MLB DFS Prop Picks for Fantasy Baseball - Monday June 20th

Max Fried - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Hello everybody and welcome! The 2022 MLB season is alive and well and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of.

PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

MLB DFS Prop Picks for 6/20/22

Max Fried over 5.5 strikeouts - Fried has a solid matchup against the Giants tonight as they are currently posting a K rate of 26.5% vs. left-handers over the previous two weeks, which ranks fourth-worst in baseball over that span. They are also posting a subpar 93 wRC+ mark and a walk rate of just 7.7% over that same span. Meanwhile, Fried has eclipsed this total in each of his previous two starts as well as seven total starts on the season.

David Peterson over 5.0 strikeouts - This is a tough prop, and in all honesty, he probably lands on the number, but the matchup is superb here. The Marlins are currently posting a K rate of 25.3% vs. lefties in the month of June, which is ranked fifth-worst in the league over that span. They are also posting a horrid 59 wRC+ over that same span against lefties. Peterson has eclipsed this total in three of his previous six starts as well.

Gerrit Cole over 7.5 strikeouts -  While this is a high number on Cole, he has faced Tampa Bay twice this season and has struck out 17 over 12 innings pitched while eclipsing this total in one of the two games and missing it by one in the other. He has also gone over this total in three of his previous six starts and six total starts on the season. The Rays have shown a propensity to strike out against right-handers as they are currently posting a K rate of 26% over the previous two weeks, which ranks fourth-worst in baseball over that span

Rafael Devers over 1.5 total bases - Devers will be facing the Tigers' right-handed starter, Alex Faedo tonight. Faedo has allowed three home runs and posted a 5.90 FIP and 1.54 WHIP against left-handed bats, which is good news for Devers. Devers has posted a 1.013 OPS with 13 home runs and 16 doubles against right-handed pitching this season.

Other Recommendations -  Corbin Burnes over 7.0 strikeouts
