EXPERT ANALYSIS: Randal Grichuk is doing his best to salvage a disappointing season. As someone who took a chance on Grichuk in multiple leagues as a starting OF, it was tough to see him grind through a slow start, hitting .189 in April with just three HR. He finished the first half of the year hitting .226/.287/.425 with a modest 10 HR and 31 RBI. That's not what fantasy owners were hoping for, needless to say. Things are turning around finally, as Grichuk has managed eight HR, 15 RBI and a .280 AVG over the past month. The Cardinals are clinging to their wild-card hopes still and will need to churn out as many runs as possible over the next couple of weeks. They have a choice matchup with the Brewers coming to town this weekend before a brutal stretch against the pitching of the Cubs and Giants. Grichuk makes for a strong streamer in all leagues the rest of this week, but a deep-league only option the following week if you are in need of power.
