ANALYSIS: Randal Grichuk has long been known for his roller coaster seasons. He had a very impressive spring training, but started the regular season in a slump. He has started to heat up as of late though. Grichuk has raised his batting average by 215 points in the month of June. Over his last 15 games, Grichuk has 14 RBI. In that same time span he has 17 hits, five of which were doubles, and five home runs. His wOBA in the month of June is an outstanding .450 and his slash line in June is .379/.698/1.077.
His season average sits at .202 as he fights to recover from his sluggish start, so he is still being ignored for the most part. That is why he's suggested as in add in deeper formats. It also makes him a streaming option more so than as a rest-of-season addition. If Grichuk continues to add to his seven home runs and utilize his speed on the bases more often, he could be a great pickup.
