BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 10% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk has rebounded after a terrible start to the 2018 season. He hit just .106 in April after being acquired from the Cardinals, then hurt himself trying to make a diving play in the field. Since the All-Star break, though, Grichuk has a .300/.351/.564 slash line, hitting eight home runs and tallying 39 R+BI. He has also been hitting either fourth or fifth in the Blue Jays lineup.
Posting a career strikeout rate around 30%, Grichuk has trimmed that rate down to 20.5% since the All-Star break and has a 6% walk rate as well. He also has hits in six of the last seven games, including four multi-hit games and six extra-base hits.
Grichuk finally looks like he is fulfilling the promise of a player with 30+ home run potential. He is a good pickup in most formats for owners in need of power and is quickly becoming a decent play in more shallow leagues as well.
