BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 12% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk has rebounded after a terrible start to the 2018 season. He hit just .106 in April after being acquired from the Cardinals and then missed the entire month of May due to injury. Since the All-Star break, though, Grichuk has a .281/.326/.562 slash line, hitting 13 home runs and tallying 57 R+BI. He has also been hitting either fourth or fifth in the Blue Jays lineup.
Posting a career strikeout rate around 30%, Grichuk has trimmed that rate down to 25.7% since the All-Star break, even though he still only has a 4.7% walk rate. He has hits in three of the last five games and, while none of those games are multi-hit games, he does have an extra-base hit in each of the last two.
Grichuk is a low-cost power addition and has a ton of potential, shown by his two home run game against the Yankees last weekend. He is a good pickup in most formats for owners in need of power and is quickly becoming a decent play in more shallow leagues as well.
