The Texas Rangers have announced their lineup for Game 1 of the ALDS against the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday.
The AL West winners will lead it off with centerfielder Delino DeShields Jr. The 23-year-old rookie will have the opportunity to get it started for the Rangers against David Price. He will bring his .261 BA, .718 OPS with 25 SB to try and set the table for the hitters behind him.

Shin-Soo Choo will bat second with his .276 BA, 22 HR and 82 RBI on what has been a nice bounce-back season for the outfielder. The 36-year-old Adrian Beltre will bat third after another solid season despite a sluggish start. The third baseman has been one of the Rangers’ best players down the final stretch.
Prince Fielder will shore up the cleanup duties when the first baseman bats fourth. A .305 BA, 23 HR and 98 RBI could possibly make the slugger the Comeback Player of the Year. He’ll have the opportunity to drive in a few more runs but will have a tough matchup against the lefty on Thursday.
Mike Napoli will bat fifth while Josh Hamilton will make the lineup as he bats in the six-hole. Elvis Andrus, Rougned Odor, Robinson Chirinos will complete the rest of the lineup.
Yovani Gallardo will be on the mound for Texas.
