BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues

ANALYSIS: Just as he had become a forgotten man, Rex Burkhead now appears to be the focal point of New England's offense, just to confuse us all. With Mike Gillislee scratched for the Sunday night tilt with Denver, Burkhead got the ball early and often. He scored a touchdown early in the first quarter and nearly scored again in the second quarter when the Pats seemingly force-fed him the ball near the goal-line. He finished with a meager 63 total yards, but the heavy red zone usage makes him relevant in both standard and PPR.
The interesting thing is that he didn't just serve as a pass-catcher. Burkhead was on the field for 36 offensive snaps; Dion Lewis came in next among all RB with 21 snaps. The 10 rush attempts were his highest as a Patriot and third-highest of his career. Burkhead actually has a decent 4.24 yards per carry average as a runner, in addition to his receiving skills. He has the potential to be a three-down back, despite his lack of breakaway speed, and could serve well in a dynamic offense. Of course, Dion Lewis and James White are still around and we know Bill Belichick doesn't feature any running back for very long. Therefore, his ceiling is limited and his usage extremely unpredictable. He could be worth rolling out in Week 11 against a soft Oakland defense, but his weekly value will continue to be volatile, so don't empty your FAAB wallets on him.
