ANALYSIS: After a pair of huge games that seemingly came out of nowhere, Arizona Cardinals tight end Ricky Seals-Jones came back down to earth in the Cardinals Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, finishing with two catches for 44 yards. Seals-Jones did continue to see more targets than he had before his recent hot streak, finishing with five of them in a game where the Cardinals offense struggled to make things happen through the air.
All the signs of future production for Seals-Jones are still here, though. Blaine Gabbert is Arizona's quarterback for the foreseeable future and the pair seem to have built a nice rapport in the short time they've been starters for the Cardinals. Seals-Jones still finished with 44 yards against a Rams defense that's allowing, on average, just 40 yards to opposing tight ends.
The Titans defense is worse than the Rams, but they're allowing 11 more yards-per-game to the position. Seals-Jones also gets a fantasy playoff match-up with the New York Giants in Week 16, a game that tight end streamers should circle on their calendars. Overall, Seals-Jones has more upside than most tight ends that are sitting on waivers right now and is a quality play for streamers in deeper leagues.
