BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: Is there a hotter player in the Association these days? No, seriously. In the month of May, all RJ Hampton has played are three games. The average fantasy tally in those three--coming off the pine!--has amounted to a total of 43 FP in just 99 minutes of playing time. Math 101 taught me that those numbers yield an average of almost 1.30 FP/min, which is an absolutely ludicrous mark. What if this Hampton is real, after all?
Orlando, if you remember, opted to ditch every valuable (and tangible) asset they have in town back in March when they traded away all of Nikola Vucevic, Aaron Gordon, and Evan Fournier. The tank is real and the rebuilding process just starting. One of the pieces going to Disneyland was RJ Hampton. Hampton, since becoming a Magic, has only started once and prior to May he had only reached 30+ minutes in a couple of games. This month, though, he's played three with 30, 35, and 31 minutes in the counter. Not bad, indeed. And even better for him and his fantasy GMs, not even those long runs have prevented RJ from putting up massively efficient numbers.
Hampton's lines in May read 18-7-5-2-1, 16-7-10-1-2, and 18-10-5 on Wednesday. The average, just in case, is at 18-7-6-1-1. I told you: no one is hotter this May when it comes to reserves, and I'm not joking. Hampton's performances are ahead of every non-starter this month, with Danilo Gallinari and Jordan Clarkson tied for the second-best players with no starts at a low 34 FPG in four games compared to Hampton's 43. Hampton is a building block for these Magic, and they better give him all the reps they can in a lost season. Steal in most deep leagues at a rather low 31% rostership in all of Yahoo competitions entering the last week of games.

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
