Baller Move: Leave on the waiver wire

Analysis: Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Roddy White caught four passes on eight targets for 84 yards. Ten weeks later was the next time White saw that many targets; nine versus the Indianapolis Colts, but only reeled in four catches for a measly 24 yards. Last week as the Atlanta Falcons dropped their fourth straight game to the Minnesota Vikings, White was targeted eight times, producing six catches and 60 yards. However, the sudden increase in White's workload should be overlooked.
The mighty have certainly fallen in Atlanta. After a promising 5-0 start to the season, with a running back in Devonta Freeman that was looking like the new dirty bird in the City Too Busy Too Hate, the Falcons find themselves 6-5 on the outside of a playoff berth, desperately looking in. There has been no aid from White, a receiver on an abrupt decline of an impressive career that once showcased six straight years of 1,000-plus receiving yards.
White isn't a fantasy option anymore. He has seen only 27 targets in 10 games played and has scored only once; numbers significantly lower than his career averages. Julio Jones is hogging most of the looks from Matt Ryan, while number three receiver, Leonard Hankerson, has slightly outperformed White. Fantasy playoffs are approaching quicker than the holidays, and no one can afford to wait and see if White can fit through the chimney of our lineups, and leave us all with something to look forward to.
