Roenis Elias (SP, SEA) - Waiver Wire Analysis

BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues

OWNED IN: 5% of Fleaflicker leagues

ANALYSIS: Elias was a sneaky play in fantasy in the second half of 2014, and he’s maintained that success to since joining the rotation in the end of April with a 2.76 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and a 25/9 K/BB ratio. He’s yet to allow more than three runs since July 9th of last year and hasn’t walked more than three batters all season. He was fantastic in his last outing at Baltimore, limiting the Orioles to one run with six hits, no walks, and four strikeouts over 7.2 innings. None of his advanced statistics scream regression so I’m buying him in deep leagues. In shallow leagues I highly recommend streaming Elias for his outing Monday at Tampa, and if he puts up a solid line considering make a spot for him in your rotation.
