BALLER MOVE: Add in Standard Leagues
OWNED IN: 46% Yahoo!
ANALYSIS: Rudy Gay returned from a heel injury on Feb. 23, and has played sparingly in five games since. However, he has made the most of his playing time, scoring in double figures in back-to-back games despite playing just 50 total minutes. The 31-year-old has battled injuries his whole career and has only appeared in 69 games over the last two seasons, so he will more than likely get some extra rest occasionally. But he did score 18.7 points per game on 45.5 percent shooting in 2016-’17, and remains more than capable of scoring in bunches. Gay should quickly become one of the primary scorers on a Spurs team down its best player, and is worth owning in most fantasy leagues.
