BALLER MOVE: Add in Two-Catcher Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 1% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Ryan Jeffers is new to the prospect rankings, and his rise through the minor league ranks has landed him in the majors unusually soon for an ascending catcher. In 55 MLB AB last season, Jeffers hit for three home runs and a .273/.355/.436 , but has gotten off to a tougher start for 2021, clubbing four XBH (one triple, one double, one HR) and a slash of .200/.245/.380 in 50 AB.

He struggled with his batting average in 83 Triple-A AB this season but he had plenty of success reaching base and hitting for decent power, racking up four doubles, five HR, and a slash of .217/.340/.446. He's still in the midst of his hot streak, and at his best over the long term he may lack in for-average hitting, but while the playing time lasts, Ryan Jeffers is a shot worth taking in deeper formats at catcher.
