Baller Move: Add in Deep Leagues
Analysis: Tannehill couldn’t lead the Dolphins to a fourth-quarter comeback against Buffalo in Week Seven, mustering only a couple of failed drives and losing a fumble when his team needed him most. He still threw for 194 yards with three TD and two INT, and with a weak running game, the Dolphins will keep looking to him to make plays on offense. Week Eight will most likely be a challenging matchup against the New England Patriots defense, which just had four sacks and returned an INT for a touchdown against the Jets. In his two starts last year against New England, he played it safe and threw for one TD and no INT, and had an average of 210 passing yards per game. But Tannehill’s much better at this point than he was when he last played the Pats, and he’s a legitimate 250-yard passing threat with Mike Wallace as his main target. He is a lower-end QB1 option who can fill in for a BYE week starter, with the range to put up a moderate to very good game.
