BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: Shout-out to Saddiq Bey because he's flexed on the odds and truly defeated them. Back in January, Bey had started all of five games by the end of the month and accrued 342 total minutes of playing time in 18 games (19 MPG, that is). From the start of February to this day, though, the minutes are already at 1,500+ on the year, Bey has started 36 more games (and all of the last 34 going back to Feb. 14), is playing 31 MPG, and he's dropping nightly gems. Kudos on that All-Rookie Team callup, Bey.
A rookie playing 30+ MPG is no joke, folks. While Bey's actual season-long number is lower than that, his "true" average is right there since he became a staple in Detroit's lineups. Only Anthony Edwards and Isaac Okoro are above 30 MPG this season, and just five-to-six rookies do so each year on average. Bey is definitely one of the chosen ones to make it big in the L. His calling card is definitely his scoring, as he's dropping 13 PPG since he became a starter and an even greater 15+ PPG in the past couple of weeks. He does it inside-and-out, too, averaging 2.6 3PG as a starter and having just one game (of 13 GP) without a single triple in the month of April.
Not only does Bey score, but he also comes with upside on the boards having a couple of 10-or-more-rebound games already and averaging almost 4 RPG on the year. The rest of the cats fall a little bit short, but for his low usage in Detroit and the chances he gets, his 24 FPG in April are far from bad from those managing in deep formats. With the Pistons done and just looking to get a good draft pick this season, odds are he keeps racking up starts and minutes, so you know you're getting a guy that will keep getting playing time no matter what.

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
