Scott Kingery (3B/SS/OF, PHI) - Week 9 Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues

OWNED IN: 32% of Leagues

ANALYSIS:  Scott Kingery came back to the Phillies lineup on the 19th of May and has immediately taken over for Odubel Herrera in CF, who's gone 1-for-14 since. Kingery is an all-around player and will provide stolen bases and home runs while being eligible at three different positions. In 2018, he stole 10 bags and hit eight dingers. He may not hit high in the order, but that just means he's going to have opportunities to drive in a bunch of runs. So far, Kingery has posted a .417 wOBA with two each of homers and stolen bags. He's been hampered by his hamstring as well, so his numbers should only go up.

This Phillies lineup will continue to improve as these hitters mesh and Kingery will only help. He's also a great defender and it'll keep him in the lineup through a small hitting slump. He's going to be heavily owned very soon and seems like an obvious add with multiple-position eligibility. He's owned in just 32% of leagues, so you can more likely than not add him this week. Give him a look before the homers and stolen bags start pouring in.
