BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 21% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Cincinnati Reds outfielder Scott Schebler has only been hitless in one game that he has started this month and has an extra-base hit in each of his last two starts. While he only has three multi-hit games in his last 10 games, Schebler has a .353 batting average in the month of June and has seen his batting average jump to .282 for the season.
Schebler has a .588 slugging percentage in June, hitting three home runs and seven doubles to go along with his eight RBI and 12 runs scored. He has only walked twice this month, so he is not that good of an addition in OBP leagues, but the fact that he has an extra-base hit in four of his last five starts is very attractive. Those that are looking to be skeptical of Schebler's play will point at his .438 BABIP this month, but he also has a 51% hard hit ball rate and 27.5% line drive rate in June.
Coming off of a 30 home run 2017 season, Schebler is showing that his performance last season was not a fluke. While we suggest adding him in 12+ team leagues, there is a case to be made that Schebler should be owned in all formats considering his recent play.
