ANALYSIS: With A.J. Pollock set to miss the 2016 campaign with a broken elbow, Socrates Brito's fantasy value definitely increases. The question is how much? Brito has appeared in four games so far, twice as a pinch-hitter, and has picked up two hits in 10 at-bats. With less than 50 total at-bats at the professional level under his belt, it's tough to predict how much Brito can impact a fantasy lineup. Plenty is on his side as he's been assigned the everyday center fielder role and has been penciled into the lineup in the two spot, but he could lose reps to Chris Owings against lefties. Brito's contribution on the base paths is limited and he will need to get the bat going to become trustworthy. He's not a bad option to store for now and plug in if he gets hot.
