ANALYSIS: Sterling Shepard got injured 15 snaps into his Week 2 game. Following that, the Giants dropped him into the Injured Reserve and after missing four straight games he's eligible to return and everything points toward a TNF comeback, facing the Eagles. The minute Shepard got injured and fantasy GMs started cutting him from rosters back in Week 2 I already advised you to add Shepard if you had room to stash him. Now that he's bad for good, there is no excuse not to get Shepard into your squad.
In a tiny small sample of 2020 play, Shepard caught 8 of the 10 pass he was thrown by QB Daniel Jones in the first two games of the season. He turned those 8 receptions into 76 yards, and also added 6 more yards on a single carry before getting injured in Week 2. His only full-game played this season finished with the wideout racking up 10.7 PPR points, nothing great, but enough to finish close to the average WR3/FLEX of the season's W1.
The Giants have C.J. Board out, and Darius Slayton was limited on Monday's practice. Slayton played last Sunday's game banged up already, and was targeted just four times, catching two of those passes. The only other viable WR in the team is Golden Tate, but that makes it three including Shepard, and it is not that Slayton or Tate had been on fire.
Shepard is a great addition for any deeper league team, a WR3 with upside to entering the WR2 on good matchups, and a viable spot-starter in shallower leagues given the role he'd play in the Giants offense. Philly comes next in the schedule and the Eagles are giving up the seventh-most fantasy points to WRs this season, so it makes sense to slot Shepard into your lineup if he's truly back this Thursday.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED: 1% of Leagues ANALYSIS: As a 2017 fifth-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of Boise State, it was a very slow start to the professional career of running back Jeremy McNichols, taking just two carries for four yards with no targets in the passing game...
